An Introduction to Verdun




Writer Laura Roberts has posted an introduction to Verdun on the Gifted Travel web site. She thinks it's a great place to live, too.
I know the Douglas Hospital grounds are large, but I had no idea they accounted for one-seventh of the borough's area.

    Thanks for the link, Mary! I got that figure from the Borough of Verdun's website and figure they should know. ;)

    But I found a few other sources that suggested about the same, and the Douglas Hospital's website actually says their grounds are 150 acres, not 170, so there you have it.
