Only you can sign your name, otherwise you commit fraud and the person signing commits forgery. That it is true when you're signing into study hall in Gr. 7, and it is doubly true when we're talking about a legal document.
That point is hammered home during the course on the Brokerage Act which every broker must take and pass in order to be licensed to sell real estate.
You also can't sign on behalf of your client using your own name unless you have been given a power or attorney duly prepared and notarized.Mary Lameyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16953464477589564471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8432058376495799792.post-35975072769618736832011-05-17T22:19:42.975-04:002011-05-17T22:19:42.975-04:00If your client gives you written permission to for...If your client gives you written permission to forge your signature, is it a forgery? Then the agent could sign her own name and it wouldn't be anything like forgery.Karinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8432058376495799792.post-82084291081878624622011-05-17T22:16:52.602-04:002011-05-17T22:16:52.602-04:00Christian Louboutin means nothing to me.
